Below is the latest from Richard, who organising the car clubs at the event.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Car Clubs,
Jaguar, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Morgan, Ferrari, & BMW,….I salute you…….. First of all Seasons Greetings to you all; I am just informing you of the way we will be structuring the car clubs at the show. If some owner’s bringing cars to the show want to leave their car in position for the full length of the show (Thursday the 18th March 2010- Sunday the 21st March 2010), that is absolutely fine, as we have full onsite 24 hour security, but it will be under the owner’s insurance policy. Otherwise for all the respective owner’s of the cars that are coming from each club, I would think members would want to bring their car for a day or two and then leave, in which case we need to organise in advance who is coming on what day, and what car they are bringing, so we aren’t left with any gaping gaps in the display. The Autoglym “Car Owner’s Section” is set to be one of the most interesting and fantastic attractions at the British Leisure Show, and it’s imperative it runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible, in order to do this I will need to speak to all of you individually and assess how many cars you can display, what those cars are, who is bringing them and what time they will be arriving, if cars are arriving in the morning before a show day, we will need to get the cars in well before the shows 10:00am opening time. After 6 pm when the show closes, people can obviously take their beautiful machines away! ------------------------------------------------------
I have spoken to Richard, and I will have more information in the new year.
