Duxford Air Museum Car Show (Cambridge). Sunday 2nd May. 9am to 5pm.

Once again the South East Region is joining Central & EA regions at this event.

As per last year. Please let me know if you wish to display your pride and joy in SE area.

I will need your vehicle details: Model of BMW, Year, Reg no.
Contact me direct or leave a post here.

Details of event  from Bernie Howell who is club contact with Duxford.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We had a very successful meeting their last year with 120 BMW's/Alpina's in our area.(nearly every model since 1976 represented)
We have booked space this year for 120 to 150 cars, including ( we hope) other make cars fitted with BMW engines

In conjunction with Richard Stern (2002 register), SE and EA Regions, we would especially like to tempt out the owners of pre 1986 cars to come along to this event.

Owners of E21 and E30 models are especially welcomed to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the 3 series launch

Members with newer cars are still invited and very welcomed.

The car show has about 400 cars on display from approx 25 clubs. As well as the cars to keep you busy, all of the (7) air and land museums are open to occupy your family. Aircraft are normally in the air through the day, together with tank rides in the afternoon.

Let me know if you are interested in attending and details of the car you will bring.

Entrance cost is expected to be the same as last year (£9 per adult occupant; under 16 free) but this still has to be confirmed by Duxford.
