    Posted: 01 Aug 2009 at 10:15pm
After 4 years ownership,I have finally had a new roof liner fitted to my I985 M635,but I am having problems fitting the sunroof liner.
The Workshop manual is no help and the CD Rom from Mobile Tradition will no longer load on my PC (or any other PC).
I can't work out how it should work, there are 2 rods which connect the roof liner frame to the rear rain gutter but they snag when you try to tilt the sunroof open.Is their anyone in the Windsor/Guildford area that has a working sunroof I could take a look at.
Regards Bruce Church

Would photographs of working example help? Happy to help if I can. I've had the sunroof out of my 635 (quite a few years ago), but don't recall messing with the liner.

Not sure these will help, but if there's any other views that might help, just let me know.

I would suggest having a chat with your local bodyshop as they can probable do this with their eyes closed. I replaced the sunroof seal on my car and my local specialist did it. Was a couple of hours labour. If you get it wrong you can loose the alignment of the roof and end up with a scratched sun roof panel.
