MINI Register BMW Car Club (GB) & Modern MINI Partnership Deal
The MINI Register BMWCC is proud to announce a club membership and magazine subscription deal with ‘Modern MINI Magazine’
For £40 the MINI owner gets 1 year’s membership to the MINI Register BMW Car Club (GB) and 1 year’s subscription to ‘Modern MINI’ delivered straight to your door!

The MINI Register is a national owners club exclusively for the BMW MINI owner and being part of the BMW Car Club (GB) an established car owners club since 1952 which is the only club officially recognised by BMW/MINI, the club maintains it’s links with BMW (UK) Ltd; the BMW Dealership network; all other recognised BMW Clubs world-wide including the International Council of BMW Clubs.

What Does the MINI Register Offer You?

Being under the umbrella of the BMW Car Club, but fully independent, the Register can offer members benefits from discounts on parts at most BMW and MINI dealers the same as  BMWCC members receive and increasingly discounts on servicing, these discounts alone would pay for your annual Register membership fee!
The Register also has discounts deals with a number of insurance companies which offer members rates that are hard to beat and the BMWCC provides a valuation service where agreed values are required.
A wide range of independent national companies also provide members with discounts on parts and services.
The Register in conjunction with the BMWCC offers a huge range of BMW books and workshop manuals as well as Club and other BMW clothing and merchandise. We have a number of specialists who can give advice on a range of BMWs both old and new. There is also a general help line run from the Club Office and a parts advice service run by a BMW parts specialist in a main BMW dealer

Events
There are over 100 events each year so you can be sure that there will be some local to you. Many Branches have monthly meets in pubs around the country.
The Register and BMWCC attend many national shows organised to display our MINI’s and BMW’s promoting MINI and BMW ownership.

The BMW Car Club annual National Festival attracts over 2,000 vehicles and thousands of enthusiasts to the show, who enjoy browsing amongst the vast numbers of trade stands present, this year there is a dedicated MINI area at the event, aiming to be one of the key annual events of the BMW MINI calendar. There is a huge Show & Shine competition open to both members and non-members, with an exclusive competition for the MINI; this annual festival also hosts the final of the Clubs National Concours.
Most of the clubs activity takes place within the regions with over 100 events arranged annually; these events range from local pub meets to Christmas dinners and from informal car runs to large-scale car meets at venues such as Tatton Park, Goodwood, Beaulieu, and Harewood House. Our National Festival at Gaydon Motor Heritage Centre attracts thousands of car enthusiasts every year.

The Register with the BMWCC arranges special visits to the factories in Germany and the UK that gives us opportunities to see the cars being built including visits to BMW Mobile Tradition, BMW M Power, Alpina and BMW R&D, plus many notable German tuners including AC Schnitzer, Hartge and Hamann. Visits are also arranged to the BMW engine assembly plant in the UK, to other BMW-related car manufacturers such as MINI, Rolls Royce and Morgan as well as other places of interest such as Jaguar cars.

Track Days
The BMWCC organises a number of these events every year at race tracks across the UK where owners can experience driving at unrestricted speeds to explore the handling of their cars and help develop enhanced levels of their car control. Expert tuition is usually available, these experiences are intended to develop driving skills and make you a better and safer driver on the roads in this way drivers develop more confidence on the road and are more able to assess driving conditions, anticipate adverse conditions and react more quickly and more safely should the situation require it. Track days also offer the more skilled drivers the chance to experience the exhilaration of driving at speed.
The annual Nurburgring driver training has now been going for over forty years and is held in the beautiful Eiffel mountains, this unique event enables drivers within groups of 10/15 cars to intimately learn the ideal line of the 12/13 mile circuit by dividing the circuit into 7 sections and repetitively covering each section with the tutor and his assistant. The days are concentrated, yet good fun and evening hospitality in the Motor Racing town of Nurburg is intimate but infectious in such a unique and beautiful environment, but for the driving enthusiast the Nurburgring does come with a warning – those who been say once visited never forgotten, all other circuits pale into insignificance.
Track days are open to all MINI Register and BMWCC members at exclusive discounts.
Club Website
Register and BMWCC members have access to the BMW Car Club (GB) website with forums exclusively for the MINI, all other BMW models and the Regional forums. The site also provides access to the club ‘parts finder’, as well as ‘for sale’ and ‘wanted’ pages and club store.

The Deal

‘MINI Register’ membership gives you access to an established national owners club, with support from fellow owners and enthusiasts, regular  club events with a great social side which includes a years subscription to the only magazine for the BMW MINI owner ‘Modern MINI’ a winning combination!

For further details on the ‘MINI Register’ or BMW Car Club, their events, meets, membership, etc  please contact myself Ian Martin via email at mailto:mini@bmwcarclubgb.co.uk

..."which is the only club officially recognised by BMW/MINI" ??? has this been confirmed by BMWCC National Board or BMW(gb)??

Great news either way I suppose for all you 'new' MINI owners.
Tell it how it is the Northern way.

Have you contacted BMWCC Head Office 01225 709009 and told them of the problem, I'm sure they'll be able to sort things out.

Regards
Ian
