NEW EVENT ADDED to SE Calendar BMWCC - South East Region display at the: ASHFORD & FAVERSHAM area MGOC and THE KENT GLIDING CLUB, Sunday 26th July event. ALL BMWs will be welcome in our display area, does not have to be a classic. Our display area allotted on the number of BMWs booked into event. Pre-booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
On Sunday 26th July 2009 “The WINGS & WHEELS” rally for all classic cars at the Kent Gliding Club airfield, Charing, Kent. From 10.30am to 5.30pm In addition to the cars attending, the Gliding Club have planned an afternoon programme of flying & ground displays. Air display by Gliders from the Club.
Air display by powered aircraft of the Club. Glider flights in towed [20 minutes flight £75 t.b.a.] & winched [ten minutes flight £10**t.b.a.] Gliders.* Members of a local model aircraft club will fly and display model aircraft. Faversham ATC display and band Refreshments & drinks [no flying allowed if alcohol consumed] available. Kent Air Ambulance in attendance. Our designated charity for this year! WINGS & WHEELS RALLY…One vehicle incl. passengers @ £10.Pre-booked [£15 day entry] ASHFORD & FAVERSHAM area MGOC and THE KENT GLIDING CLUB Are also having a tulip rally on Saturday 25th July 2009 The “INVICTA RUN” Tulip rally through the countryside to finish at a historic place of interest Commencing 10.30am INVICTA RUN……………………… … . .One vehicle incl. passengers @ £20 [£25 day entry] Kent Gliding Club, Squids Gate, Challock, Ashford, Kent. Selwyn has his Ticket for event, he is proud to be Number one BMW booked into event
as stated on MGOC pass.He never stopped rubbing it in at AGM last night

Same old story, waiting ages for a bus, then 3 come along at the same time !! What is it about 26th. July ? Is it the only day guaranteed wall to wall sunshine or something ? National Concours, Wings & Wheels & a Gig @ Loch Lomond . Fast car, but even i couldn't manage all 3, decisions, decisions. Mike.
